Bollywood Newshound Nisha’s Take on the Latest Election Drama
Well, well, well, what have we here? Our very own veteran Bollywood actor turned politician, Shatrughan Sinha, is on the cusp of a well-deserved victory in the Asansol constituency during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. And who is he leading against, you ask? None other than the senior BJP leader SS Ahluwalia. Now, isn’t that a twist in the tale?
As the election results started rolling in, our dear Shatrughan Sinha’s son, Kush Sinha, couldn’t help but be the grateful son. He took to ANI to thank the people of Asansol for their trust in daddy dearest. “I’m thrilled,” he stated with a beaming smile, “He (Shatrughan Sinha) is riding the wave of victory. He won by a landslide last time, and it seems like history is keen on repeating itself. My heartfelt thanks go out to the people of Asansol for choosing a candidate who will stand by them.”
Not one to miss an opportunity, Kush Sinha also threw some shade at the BJP. He accused them of generating a web of lies against his father and the TMC. “Many were creating a storm of false information about him and the TMC. The exit polls suggested that some other party would take over West Bengal, and my dad would face defeat in Asansol. But today’s results have shattered those baseless claims to pieces,” he retorted. Cheeky, isn’t he?
As per the Election Commission of India, by 4 PM, Shatrughan Sinha was leading SS Ahluwalia by a whooping margin of over 60,000 votes. Now that’s what I call a ‘shotgun’ lead! It certainly shows the immense support Sinha has gathered in the Asansol constituency.
In other news, Govinda, our beloved Bollywood comedian, met PM Narendra Modi amidst the 2024 elections in Mumbai. “It was an honour,” he claimed. But that’s a story for another day.
