From being Bollywood’s quintessential chocolate boy to portraying some seriously grey characters, Saif has been through it all. But, haaye! Success ka raasta itna aasaan nahi tha. Last month, Saif found himself in a real-life action thriller when a burglar broke into his ghar and attacked him. Kya zamana aa gaya hai! Thankfully, our hero is recovering after multiple surgeries at Lilavati Hospital. The entire fan brigade was on edge, praying for his recovery. Bhagwaan ka shukr hai, he’s back home as of January 21.

Throwback to 1999, during an interview before his film Kacche Dhaage, Saif spilled the beans about getting fired from his first film, Bekhudi, directed by Rahul Rawail. Imagine getting your first big break and then being shown the door! Arrey, Saif baba shared on Doordarshan’s Subah Savere, "People talk about struggle, par struggle ka matlab kya? Auto mein baitho, 10 chakkar kaato aur kisi ke office mein ghante bitao. Yeh hota hai struggle. Mera struggle bhi tha, lekin alag tha."

Now here’s the twist—Saif was given an ultimatum by the filmmaker: "Leave your girlfriend or leave the film." Talk about a filmy moral choice! Our Nawab chose love over a reel role, leading to some unflattering rumors about him being unprofessional and even showing up on set drunk. Arrey, duniya kya kya sochti hai!

On the professional side of things, Saif’s next big move is in the Netflix film Jewel Thief, marking the OTT debut of director Siddharth Anand. Can’t wait to see what he’s got up his sleeve this time! 🎥
