Bollywood ka drama toh kabhi khatam hi nahi hota, hai na? 😜 This time, it’s our very own playback singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya who has decided to spill the beans on his long-standing feud with Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan.

For those who missed the memo, Abhijeet was practically SRK’s voice for years, delivering hits after hits. Remember "Main Hoon Na"? Of course, you do! But post-2007’s "Om Shanti Om," Abhijeet and SRK’s musical partnership went kaput. Aur tab se, logon ke beech mein rumors ka bazaar garam tha.

Abhijeet’s Khulasa: Kya Drama Hai Yeh!

Abhijeet Bhattacharya, who gave us those memorable tunes, finally decided to break his silence. In an interview, he bared his dil ki baatein, revealing that he was miffed because he didn’t get the credit he deserved for his songs in SRK’s films.

"Shah Rukh Khan ko pata hai yeh sab. Hum dono ke birthdays ek din ke fark se hain, aur humari nature bhi same hai," Abhijeet shared.

He didn’t stop there. The singer added, "Agar main aaj unse milu, toh main keh sakta hoon, ‘Bas karo yaar, tum star ho aur hamesha rahoge.’ Lekin agar main wapas aaya, toh phir main aaunga, SRK nahi. Kabhi kabhi lagta hai ki woh show off karte hain… ya shayad unke paas time nahi hai. Lekin aisa nahi hai. Main unhe bohot achi tarah se jaanta hoon, aur woh bhi yeh jaante hain ki mujhe bura laga hai."

Music Directors Ne Khela Khel?

Abhijeet even pointed fingers at some music directors, claiming they were the real villains in this filmi kahani. "Yeh sab kuch music directors ke wajah se hua. Kuch directors chahte the ki agar unhe SRK ka film mile, toh Abhijeet ko playback nahi karne denge," he explained.

He also reminisced about a Facebook Live session in 2021, where he addressed this issue, saying that he never had any problem with SRK per se, but with the music directors who wanted to drive a wedge between them. "Yeh industry ka khel hai, dosto," he said, with a knowing smile.
