Abhijeet Bhattacharya Spills the Tea on Bollywood Shenanigans! Claims Career Nosedived Post Singing for Shah Rukh Khan: “Since That Award…”

Hey there, Bollywood buffs! It’s your favorite snoop, Khabree Kiran, back with some spicy masala straight from the filmi duniya! Buckle up, because today, we’re diving into the dramatic world of Abhijeet Bhattacharya and his epic Bollywood brawl! 🎤✨

Abhijeet Bhattacharya, our beloved singer with a no-nonsense attitude, has once again spilled the chai on Bollywood’s notorious politics. This time, he’s pointing fingers at the music directors who, he claims, dropped him like a hot potato once he started belting out tunes for none other than Shah Rukh Khan. Kyun bhai? Jealous much? 😏

This maestro has been the voice behind over 6,000 songs in around 1,000 films! Remember those iconic tracks from "Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge," "Coolie No. 1," "Judwaa," "Yes Boss," and "Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani"? Yep, all Abhijeet! But, the last we heard him was in the 2020 rendition of "Husnn Hai Suhaana" for the "Coolie No. 1" remake starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan.

So, what’s the fuss about? Abhijeet claims that as soon as he started bagging big awards, the music directors turned their backs on him. Talk about dosti mein twist! 😲

Abhijeet shared with Pinkvilla, "Mere saath bahut kuch hua hai… jisme hota tha ki, music director ko jaise hi laga ke Shah Rukh Khan ki film mil gayi… kitne bhi close ho mere woh music director, aisa lagta tha ki uska motive hi tha ke Abhijeet ko nahi gavaaunga." Translation: Even his closest music director buddies would snub him once they got a Shah Rukh film. Ouch! 😬

The drama doesn’t end there. Abhijeet reminisced about the time he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer for "Yes Boss." This was a non-blockbuster song competing against juggernauts like "Border," "Pardes," and "Dil To Pagal Hai." Despite the win, many music directors allegedly stopped working with him. "Jabse mujhe award mila… uske baad dikha dikha ke mujhe woh bolte hain ke gaana tumse nahi gavayenge," he lamented.

And here’s the kicker: Abhijeet is still on good terms with these very music directors! Matlab, yeh Bollywood bhi na, full of surprises! 😜
