Ahmed Khan dishes on Akshay Kumar’s duds: Flops don’t faze him, he always goes all in!

Hey Bollywood buffs! It’s your girl Nisha, back with another saucy scoop from the glitzy, glamorous, and sometimes downright ridiculous world of Bollywood! Grab your popcorn, because this one’s a doozy! 🍿

So, apparently, our very own Khiladi Kumar, Akshay, has hit a bit of a rough patch. Remember that big-budget flick, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’? Yeah, the one that tanked so hard that the production company had to sell their office! 😱 Talk about a plot twist! But fear not, because Ahmed Khan, the choreographer-turned-director, is here to spill some tea on Mr. Kumar himself.

According to Ahmed, Akshay doesn’t give two hoots about success or failure. Nope, not our Akki! He’s all about giving his 100% and being super punctual. I mean, the guy’s on set at 6:30 AM for a 7 AM shoot. Who does that? Oh right, Akshay does. And he doesn’t even throw a fit if others are late. Now, that’s some zen-level patience. 🧘‍♂️

Ahmed shared, "Akshay Sir never lets failure get to him. He’s all about the effort. And money? Please, he’s got enough to swim in. He does films out of passion, not for the moolah."

Now, you might think, "Hey, Nisha, if he’s so passionate, why aren’t his films raking in the big bucks?" Excellent question, my dear Watson. Well, even though Akshay churns out multiple films a year, they haven’t exactly been box-office gold lately. Case in point: ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ with its whopping 350 crore budget barely scraped together 59.17 crores. Ouch. 🥴

The real kicker? Producer Vasu Bhagnani had to sell his office to pay off a 250-crore debt. Talk about a Bollywood drama! Vasu, my man, maybe next time let’s not bet the farm on a sinking ship, eh?

But wait, the story doesn’t end here. Akshay is teaming up with Ahmed Khan again for ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. The celebrity filled cast includes Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani, and Paresh Rawal. Phew! That’s a lot of star power. Let’s hope they don’t need another office sale to recoup this one. 🏢📉

Nisha’s Nutshell: In Bollywood, it’s not about how hard you fall, but how fabulously you pick yourself up. And if all else fails, just sell an office and move on. 🎬💸

Happy gossiping, my lovelies!
