Ahmed Khan: Tiger Shroff is on the brink of super-stardom, defends his acting – ‘He doesn’t need to do an Ardh Satya’ | Hindi Movie News

Ah, Bollywood! Where heartbreak and drama aren’t just on the silver screen but in real life too. Tiger Shroff, the once mighty box office king, seems to be having a bit of a “meh” moment. Three back-to-back flops: Heropanti 2, Ganapath, and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Ouch! But hey, Ahmed Khan, the man behind Baaghi 2, Baaghi 3, and yes, the ill-fated Heropanti 2, thinks that there’s no need to hit the panic button just yet.

“Don’t sweat it, folks,” Ahmed casually assures us while sipping on his chai (I imagine). According to him, Tiger’s secret sauce is his dedication. The guy shows up on time, does what he’s asked, and has all the qualities of a Bollywood hero—looks, body, dance moves, action skills. What more could you ask for? A National Award-winning performance in some arthouse flick? Nah, let’s not kid ourselves. Tiger’s here to kick butt and look good doing it.

Ahmed adds, “Look, every hero goes through this. It’s a rite of passage. He’ll bounce back, no sweat. He’s just one film away from reclaiming his throne.” Well, if you say so, Ahmed. But seriously, what happened to that golden touch?

Reflecting on the performance of Baaghi 3, Ahmed mentions that it had the biggest opening of 2020 before the pandemic rudely interrupted its run. Apparently, everyone was super confident about its success until COVID pulled the rug out from under them. “I was hurt and depressed for the first time,” Ahmed reveals, adding that Tiger was equally shattered. But hey, the film still raked in Rs 90 crore in six days. Not too shabby, right?

Meanwhile, Heropanti 2 was a total washout (surprise, surprise), but Tiger isn’t down for the count just yet. He’s set to make a special appearance in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, the third installment in the Ajay Devgn-led cop action series. Diwali release, anyone?

Nisha’s Nutshell:
In the wild rollercoaster world of Bollywood, even the mighty fall. But if you’ve got abs of steel and a killer action sequence up your sleeve, you’re just one film away from bouncing back. So, moral of the story? In Bollywood, it’s not over until the hero dances!
