Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ Gets New Release Date of August 2; CBFC Approves Teasers – Bollywood’s Latest Drama

Oh, darlings, the drama never stops in Bollywood! Yours truly, Bollywood Newshound Nisha, is here with the latest spicy tidbits that’ll make your chai-time gossip sessions even juicier. Grab your popcorn and let’s dive into the mess that is the release schedule of Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s latest flick! 🎬🍿

So, let’s get straight to it. The much-anticipated movie Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha was initially set to grace our screens on July 5. But surprise, surprise, it’s been pushed to August 2. Why? Because the exhibitors and distributors had a collective meltdown and begged for a delay. I mean, who needs a movie release when you can have a scheduling crisis, right? 🙄

And oh, the timing – it’s impeccable. Look, the film’s new release date is sandwiched between two titans: Kalki 2898 AD featuring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, and the Marvel juggernaut Deadpool & Wolverine dropping on July 26. Clearly, the makers of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha didn’t fancy being the tiny fish in a sea of sharks. 🩈

An insider spilled the beans, saying, “August 2 is a strategic move. Releasing alongside those biggies would’ve been a disaster of Titanic proportions.” Well, no kidding! Because who wants to compete with Deadpool’s snark and Wolverine’s claws? đŸ€·â€â™€ïž

But hold your horses, it’s not all smooth sailing. The film now faces off against Janhvi Kapoor’s Ulajh and Vikrant Massey’s The Sabarmati Report. A three-way clash? This just keeps getting better! 🎆

And just when you thought you had enough, here’s the cherry on top: the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has approved not one, but TWO teasers for the movie. One is 45 seconds long with a U/A certificate, and the other is 46 seconds with a squeaky-clean ‘U’ certificate. Maybe they should have certified their scheduling skills too. 😏

Besides our dynamic duo, the film also features Jimmy Shergill, Saiee Manjrekar, and Shantanu Maheshwari, with direction by the talented Neeraj Pandey and music by the Oscar-winning M M Kreem. Quite the ensemble, isn’t it?

Nisha’s Nutshell: đŸ„œ

In the chaotic world of Bollywood, one thing’s for sure: the release dates are as stable as a Jenga tower in a windstorm. Moral of the story? Always have a backup plan, or better yet, just wait for the dust to settle! 🎱
