Currently, Akshay is gracing the big screen with Sarfira. Par kya fayda? The film has failed to draw in the crowds despite positive word-of-mouth. The main culprit? Akki’s recent string of flops has seriously dented his star power at the box office. Critics and fans alike are quick to blame his focus—or lack thereof—on a good script. Instead, they say he’s more interested in his paycheck. Arre bhai, paisa sab kuch nahi hota!

Sarfiri Baatein ft. Ghazal Alagh

During a chat on Sarfiri Baatein with Ghazal Alagh, Akshay got real. When Ghazal, the Shark Tank India judge, was asked if she had ever been cheated in business, she responded with, “Cheating is not acceptable.” Akshay quickly jumped in, sharing his own bitter experiences.

Akki said, “This is something we have in common. Main uske baad main usse baat hi nahin karta, chup ho jaata hoon apna side mein nikal jaata hoon… ek do producers ki payment nahin aati hain and that is cheating only… (I just don’t talk to that person, who cheats me. When Ghazal asked if he’d been cheated in Bollywood, Akshay candidly replied, “Bilkul huya hai. Ek-do producers ki payment nahin aati hain. That is cheating only (It has happened to me. A few producers haven’t cleared my dues).”
