Akshay Kumar’s ‘Khel Khel Mein’ will be locking horns with John Abraham’s ‘Vedaa’ and the much-awaited ‘Stree 2.’ While the cast of ‘Khel Khel Mein’ includes big names like Taapsee Pannu and Vaani Kapoor, the pre-release hype is flatter than a day-old soda. Advance Booking Ka Haal
According to Sacnilk, ‘Khel Khel Mein’ has managed to gather a measly 5.29 lacs through advance bookings for day 1. Delhi aur Haryana toh jaise Akshay bhai ko bhool hi gaye hain. So far, only 1,214 tickets have been sold. Ab yeh to wahi baat ho gayi, "Baap bada na bhaiya, sabse bada rupaiya."
This poor performance is giving us serious deja vu from Akshay’s last release, ‘Sarfira,’ which had sold around 4.6 lacs tickets at this stage. With three more days to go, let’s cross our fingers ki kuch toh achha ho!
Khel Khel Mein vs Stree 2 Pre-Sales: Battle of the Titans
Agar star power ki baat kare, Akshay Kumar should ideally have the upper hand over Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Lekin bhai, back-to-back flops ne Akshay ke loyal fans ko bhi dara diya hai.
