*Akansha Ranjan Kapoor took a trip down memory lane by sharing an old audition tape from 2014 on Instagram. Guess who couldn’t resist reacting? Her bestie, Alia Bhatt!

Brace yourselves, dosto! Our darling Akansha Ranjan Kapoor just shared a blast from the past on Instagram. We’re talking about an ancient audition tape from 2014! 😲 Back when Akansha was all "bindaas" and rocking those oversized side locks, she was basically bunking at Mukesh Chhabra Casting Company. She shared, “Found this gem from 2014—my early audition days when I basically lived rent-free at @mukeshchhabracc. I was so raw, so clueless, and rocking some seriously oversized side locks. But I was also so full of excitement, dreams, and that fearless energy only comes when you don’t know what you don’t know. Crazy to look back and see how much has changed!!”

And then she dropped the million-dollar question! "Can anyone figure what film this is from the character names?" she asked, clearly having no idea herself! 😅

While the mystery of the film remains unsolved, Alia Bhatt, our queen of hearts, chimed in with a simple yet sweet, “So lovely ❤️.” Bhumi Pednekar was quick to add her two cents too, writing, “Kanchu ❤️.” Fans were all nostalgic, calling Akansha “innocent” and “young,” which, let’s be honest, she totally was!

Alia Bhatt: The Busy Bee Buzzing Through Blockbusters

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt has been on quite the rollercoaster herself. In 2023, she charmed us in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and even went Hollywood with Heart of Stone. Not stopping there, our Alia turned producer in 2024 with her film Jigra, alongside Vedant Raina and Rahul Ravindran, directed by the ever-dynamic Vasan Bala. And what’s next? Hold your breath for the YRF spy thriller Alpha and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War.

As for Akansha, she made a cameo in Jigra and will soon grace the Tamil film MaayaOne. She first wowed us in Guilty (2020) and continued her streak with Monica, O My Darling in 2022.

Kiran’s Gyan:

Bollywood is like a big, fat family wedding—everyone’s invited, everyone’s involved, and everyone’s got a story to tell (or forget!). Whether it’s remembering old auditions or dropping films like confetti, the drama never stops, yaar! So, next time you find an old tape, remember: even the biggest stars began somewhere, probably with oversized side locks! 😉
