Ah, Dilli ki sardi, chai ki chuski, aur Purani Dilli ke maze! Bollywood’s very own Amit Sadh took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, reliving his Delhi days. Kya bhai, feeling homesick or just hungry for some nihari? 😉
Amit’s Delhi Darshan
So, there he was, apna Kabir Sawant from the web series Breathe, chilling (quite literally) by the Yamuna River. "Dilli has a way of adopting you," Amit muses, as he sips chai and indulges in nihari at Dilli 6. Bhai, Old Delhi is like a time capsule, haan? Amit couldn’t resist the charm – or the chai, even though he isn’t a chai aficionado. "I don’t usually drink tea but yahan ke log, they’re too sweet to say no to!" he confessed with a grin.
From CP to Purani Dilli
Amit took a trip back to the days when he was a shoe store salesman at Connaught Place. Every Saturday, he and his friends would head to Purani Dilli, exploring its maze-like streets and indulging in street food. He describes Old Delhi as its own planet, reminding him of his shoots for Breathe 3. Who knew Amit has been a Dilliwala all along? 🤔
Animal Lover Alert
Now, here’s a twist: our hero is an animal lover! Whether it’s scratching a cat’s back or petting a stray dog, Amit’s heart beats for all creatures. "Even the animals here have a unique personality," he observes, proving that his love for animals is as boundless as his love for acting.
Chai Pe Charcha
The chilly air in Delhi made Amit reach for his jacket, but the warmth of a steaming cup of chai kept him cozy. Despite not being a regular chai drinker, he couldn’t resist. "Yahan ke log hi itne achhe hain," he says, convinced by their hospitality. Oh Amit, your honesty is as heartwarming as that chai! 🫖
Kiran’s Gyan
Bollywood and Delhi – both thrive on drama, nostalgia, and a good cup of chai. Ab chai ho ya Bollywood, the right blend of spice and sweetness is what keeps the magic alive. So, Amit bhai, next time, don’t forget to bring some garam chai for your fans too! 😄
