In a desi twist of financial heroism, Amitabh Bachchan has managed to single-handedly contribute to the nation’s coffers, becoming the ultimate role model of fiscal responsibility. With earnings that could make even the wealthiest feel gareeb, Bachchan Sahab raked in a jaw-dropping 350 crores this year. And how much tax did he pay, you ask? A whopping 120 crores! Matlab, paisa bolta hai, but in this case, it also pays a lot of tax. 😂
And while we’re at it, let’s not forget that this year’s tax showdown saw Big B dethrone none other than King Khan himself! Yes, Shah Rukh Khan, the Badshah of Bollywood, who contributed a respectable 92 crores last year, has been graciously nudged aside by our Piku star.
