Amitabh Bachchan-Rekha Poster Swapped With Jaya Bachchan After CBFC’s Tweaks to Ravi Teja’s Film!

Arre yaar, Bollywood mein kuch bhi ho sakta hai! Today’s masaledar news is all about Ravi Teja’s upcoming Telugu film, Mr. Bachchan. Ek minute, let me spill the chai for you!

So, our beloved Ravi Teja is all set to dazzle his fans with Mr. Bachchan, which is apparently a remake of Ajay Devgn’s 2018 hit film Raid. But wait, just before its grand release tomorrow (August 15), the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) decided to play the sanskari card and demanded a few changes. Arey, kya zamana aa gaya hai!

One of the major tweaks requested by the CBFC was replacing a poster of Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha, which was shown during the credits. Guess who made the cut? None other than Jaya Bachchan! Wah bhai wah, talk about keeping it in the family! 😂

And that’s not all, folks. The CBFC didn’t stop there. They asked the filmmakers to add a disclaimer stating that the movie is fictional and bears no resemblance to anyone. Matlab, full-on safety mode! And of course, they had to go and remove some abusive words and violent scenes. Oh, and there was this one scene with a child smoking beedi… now replaced with a pencil. Kya baat hai, creativity at its peak! 🎬

After these changes, CBFC gave its green signal with a U/A certificate on Tuesday (August 13). Directed by Harish Shankar, Mr. Bachchan also stars Jagapathi Babu as the big baddie. Aur suno, Bhagyashri Borse, who was last seen in Chandu Champion with Kartik Aaryan, is also part of the star filled cast.

But wait, there’s more drama! The film will clash at the box office with Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt’s Double iSmart. Itna competition, yaar! Interestingly, the makers of Mr. Bachchan have zipped their lips about the CBFC’s demands and haven’t released any official statement. Suspense ka level dekh rahe ho aap?

Oh, and by the way, the original 2018 film Raid starred Ileana D’cruz and was based on an actual income tax raid on Sardar Inder Singh.

Kiran’s Gyan:
Bollywood mein yeh naya trend hai kya? Pehle poster badlo, fir script badlo, aur end mein sabka dimaag badlo! 😂 But hey, as they say, in Bollywood, anything can happen. Toh popcorn lekar baith jao, kyunki show abhi baaki hai, mere dost!
