Anshula Kapoor on Boney and Mona Kapoor’s Split: ‘Log Mere Sanskaar Par Ungli Uthane Lage’ | Bollywood

Hello Bollywood buffs! Grab your chai and samosas because Khabree Kiran is here with the latest scoop from B-town. You know me, your friendly neighborhood Bollywood snoop, always ready to sprinkle some spice on the filmy world. Today, we’re diving into the family saga of none other than the Kapoors! 🎬

Anshula Kapoor Speaks Out!

So, Anshula Kapoor recently spilled the beans about her childhood in a heart-to-heart interview. Picture this: it’s the 90s, and our girl Anshula is stuck in the middle of her parents’ high-profile divorce. Her dad, Boney Kapoor, tied the knot with Mona Shourie in 1983, and they had two kids, Arjun and Anshula. Fast forward to 1996, and boom! The marriage hits splitsville. 👀

Anshula reminisces about the chaos: "Growing up in the 90s, no one really knew what to say when my parents got separated. People started talking about family values, my upbringing, etc… I resigned into my own shell, trying to figure out what this new normal was all about."

Supermom Alert!

Anshula paints a vivid picture of her mother’s superhero phase. With her father, Boney Kapoor, and uncle, Sanjay chachu, busy in the Bollywood biz, it was up to Mona to wear all the hats. "Mom became a one-person army," Anshula recalls. "She was the caretaker, the lovegiver, the problem solver, and the breadwinner." Mona had more hands than a Vishnu idol, managing everything on her own! 🙌

The Kapoor Khandaan Kahani

Let’s rewind a bit, shall we? Boney Kapoor was happily married to Mona until cupid struck again. Rumor has it he started seeing actress Sridevi while still married to Mona. Drama much? Boney and Sridevi eventually tied the knot in 1996, adding Janhvi and Khushi to the Kapoor clan. Sadly, Sridevi passed away in 2018 in Dubai.

Mona, a talented TV serial producer, tragically left us in 2012 at the age of 47, after battling cancer and hypertension. She fought valiantly, but her health deteriorated over the last five months of her life.

Kiran’s Gyan 🤔

So, what’s the moral of this Kapoor saga? Well, in Bollywood, life is like a masala film—full of twists, turns, and sequels! Families might face drama, but they also show us the power of resilience and love. Remember, doston, no matter how tangled the script, the show must go on!
