Anushka Sen Spills the Beans About Being a Deadly Assassin for Her Upcoming International Gig in Asia: A Little Bollywood Gossip to Spice Up Your Day!

Our little birdie, Variety, caught her gushing about this new venture. She said, “It’s an action thriller and it has people from all over Asia… different countries, people are joining in for this big movie. It’s a global film. It’s a K-film, and I’m really excited to be a part of it. We have shot the first schedule and we are now waiting for the second. I’m playing an assassin for the very first time.”

And, get this, she’s absolutely smitten with Korean cinema. Can’t blame her though, who isn’t? Ms. Sen said, “During COVID times when I would watch K-dramas they would make me feel wholesome. I was just hoping that we could collaborate with Korea… the content they’re producing is incredible and so inspiring. Indian cinema and Korean cinema have a lot in common, especially the way they depict romance and family. It would be lovely to see a collaboration.”

With this new role, Anushka is proving that she’s not just a one-trick pony. She’s eager to dive into new territories and we’re all here for it. Plus, she’s been named the honorary brand ambassador for Korean tourism. How’s that for a cherry on top?
