Oh, Taapsee Pannu! Our feisty Bollywood queen jetted off to Paris, not just for any vacation, but to support her hubby and Indian badminton coach, Mathias Boe, at the Olympics! Aur wahaan, she also celebrated her birthday in true Parisian style. Seems like a double bonanza, no? 😏
The Cake Cutting Shenanigans
So, Taapsee shared a video on her Instagram Stories, where she’s all set to cut her birthday cake, arranged by Mathias and her sister, Shagun Pannu. Mathias, in his defense, explained the Parisian logistics were tough. Taapsee, being her candid self, pointed out a minor glitch – the birth year on the cake was off! Shagun quickly chimed in, “Arrey yaar, technicalities mein mat jao!”
And then, in true Taapsee style, she makes a wish, “Paaji inko please next time thoda planning karne ka mauka dena mere birthday ka” 😂. Mathias joyfully screamed in the background, while Shagun serenaded her with the Happy Birthday song. Taapsee rocked a teal night suit and bunny headband, making it a cozy, low-key birthday bash. 🐰🎉

On Wednesday, Taapsee gave us a glimpse of her dinner date with Mathias through another Instagram Story. Captioned, “Ok, he gets dinner treat for good work today,” she shared a snap of Mathias at the event venue. Mathias, an Olympic gold medalist, is currently coaching Indian badminton stars Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy. Kudos to you, Mathias! 🏅
