March 15, 2025 – The news of veteran actor Deb Mukherjee’s passing at the age of 83 has left the Bollywood fraternity in mourning. With heavy hearts and fond memories, several stars made their way to Mumbai to pay their respects.

Ayan Mukerji, the talented filmmaker, received support from his Bollywood friends as they gathered to honor his late father, Deb Mukherjee. Known for gracing the Durga Puja events hosted by Kajol and Rani Mukerji, Deb’s presence will be deeply missed. On Saturday, Kiara Advani and Ajay Devgn were spotted at Ayan’s residence, offering their condolences. Kiara, who recently announced her pregnancy, arrived in a chic oversized white outfit. Deb Mukherjee was not only Ayan’s father but also the father-in-law of director Ashutosh Gowariker. His funeral, held at Pawan Hans Crematorium in Juhu, saw a star filled attendance with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Anil Kapoor among those paying their respects.
