Dharma & Sikhya’s Kill Bags a Hollywood Makeover; John Wick’s Maestro Calls the Shots!

Hey Bollywood buffs! Khabree Kiran here with your daily dose of masala and mirch! Brace yourselves for some tadka news straight from the glitzy lanes of Bollywood. 🕺💃

Hollywood Bound: ‘Kill’ Before It Even Hits Desi Screens!

Arre bhai, imagine this – a Bollywood movie getting a Hollywood remake even before it hits our Indian theatres! Yup, you read that right! Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment’s upcoming action thriller ‘Kill’ is already making waves across the seven seas. And guess who’s behind this Hollywood avatar? None other than the studio that gave us the legendary John Wick series, Lionsgate.

Cue dramatic background music: 🥁 Chad Stahelski, the director who made us fall in love with Keanu Reeves all over again, has his production house 87Eleven Entertainment on board for the English-language version of ‘Kill’. Talk about setting the bar high, huh?

Lionsgate’s big boss Adam Fogelson couldn’t stop gushing about ‘Kill’, calling it one of the wildest, most creative action films he’s seen recently. Chad Stahelski is all pumped up too. He’s raving about Nikhil Nagesh Bhat’s action-packed sequences, and can’t wait to bring them to a global audience. Chad, mere bhai, we’re just as excited as you are!

And what’s this movie about? Picture this: a pair of commandos on a train to New Delhi, facing an army of bandits. Sounds like a rollercoaster ride of dhishoom-dhishoom, right?

The original producers – Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor, and Achin Jain – are over the moon. They’re thrilled to see their vision getting global recognition and can’t wait for North American theatres to echo with chants of “Kill! Kill! Kill!” And let’s not forget, this is their second collaboration after the critically acclaimed ‘The Lunchbox’.

Lakshya, the new kid on the block, stars alongside Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala. The film hits Indian theatres on July 5.

Kiran’s Gyan:

Bollywood ka asli maza tab aata hai jab Hollywood bhi hamare peeche bhagta hai! Ab dekhte hain, kya yeh ‘Kill’ John Wick ko takkar de paayega?
