Breaking News: Sunny Deol’s ‘Border 2’ has got a new member in the squad, and it’s none other than our very own Varun Dhawan! The original Border film from 1997 had everyone feeling all joshila and patriotic, and it looks like the sequel is going to be even bigger! Bhaiyon aur behno, according to some insider chugli, Varun Dhawan is now the chosen one to star alongside Sunny paaji in this epic saga. Aur yeh news Pinkvilla ne confirm ki hai—oops, I mean, some khufiya sources ne bataya hai! Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta are the moneybags behind this mega project, and Anurag Singh will be calling the shots.
A close source (probably someone who loves khufiya baatein as much as I do) revealed, "Border 2 is going to be the biggest film in Indian cinema, and Varun Dhawan’s addition to the cast is just the cherry on top. Varun himself is a huge fan of the original Border, and he believes that this film could be a milestone in his career." Matlab, full-on fan moment for our Badlapur dude!
Acha, so apparently, this Border franchise is like a sacred cow for the audience, and Varun joining Sunny Deol is going to make it even more dhamakedar. Border 2 is expected to start shooting in November 2024 and is aiming for a grand Republic Day weekend release in 2026. So, get ready to feel all patriotic and joshila once again!
