Ekta Kapoor drags her son to Sri Durga Parmeshwari Temple for a divine selfie session, scores some blessings from the big guy upstairs

New Delhi. The queen of TV and OTT, Ekta Kapoor, is at it again! If she’s not ruling our screens, she’s busy blessing our social media feeds. Recently, she shared some divine snapshots from the Sri Durga Parameshwari Temple in Mangalore. Ekta, darling, are you seeking blessings for another hit drama or just some peace away from the daily soap opera of life? 🤔

In her first video, we get a glimpse of the temple. In the second, we see a serene river flowing by. Ah, tranquility! And of course, in her third Insta story, there’s a cute selfie with her five-year-old son, Ravi. Just look at them! People are flooding her comments with praises for instilling such wonderful values in her kiddo.

Now, for those of you out of the loop: Ekta hasn’t tied the knot yet (shocking, I know). She embraced motherhood in 2019 through surrogacy and named her son Ravi, a nod to her legendary father, Jeetendra, whose real name is Ravi Kapoor. Talk about keeping it in the family!

Ekta was honored with the Padma Shri in 2020. Quite the feather in her cap, right? She’s the Joint Managing Director and Creative Head of Balaji Telefilms Limited, a venture she kickstarted in 1994. From the launch of Balaji Motion Pictures in 2001 to ALT Balaji in 2017, Ekta’s empire just keeps growing. And let’s not forget her International Directorate Award at the 51st International Emmy Awards in 2023. 🎉

Her journey began post-education with a stint in an advertising company. That’s when the idea of creating serials struck her. She made her TV debut with "Mano Ya Na Mano" and then brought us the iconic comedy show "Hum Paanch". But the real game-changer? Her saas-bahu dramas.

"Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi," anyone? It was a hit on Star Plus, and believing in the magic of the letter ‘K,’ she churned out more serials like "Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki," "Kutumb," "Kahin Kisi Roz," "Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai," and "Kundali Bhagya." Oh, and let’s not forget the supernatural sensation "Naagin," which kept us all hooked season after season.

And if that’s not enough, she’s also produced films like "Shootout at Lokhandwala," "Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai," "Ek Villain," "Dream Girl," "Kathal," "Thank You for Coming," and "Crew." Is there anything this woman can’t do?

Nisha’s Nutshell:
When life gives you Ekta Kapoor, expect a hit series, a couple of blockbuster movies, and a dash of divine intervention. In Bollywood, it’s all about the drama, both on and off-screen! 📺🍿
