So, guys, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s blockbuster movie, Animal, starring none other than apne Ranbir Kapoor, has been making headlines even months after its release. Yes, you heard that right! This film is like that one relative who stays longer than expected but, surprisingly, you don’t mind. 😂
Arre, kya scene hai, bhai! Emraan Hashmi bhi ab Ranbir ke fan ban gaye hain! In a recent podcast with Subhankar Mishra, Emraan couldn’t stop gushing over Ranbir’s performance in Animal. He said, “Main jyadatar itni filmein dekhta nahi hoon but maine ye dekhi hai. I think it was commendable jis tarah unhone poore conviction ke saath ek aise character ko play kiya which is not easy to like. Grey shades hein but poore conviction ke saath unhone us character ko play kiya. Which is commendable.” Basically, Emraan’s saying Ranbir nailed that tough character like a boss!
For those living under a rock, Animal is about a guy who comes back from the US after someone tries to off his emotionally distant dad. To earn his dad’s approval, he goes all badla mode. Despite its massive success at the box office, some log have criticized it for promoting misogyny and toxic masculinity. Arre bhai, Bollywood ke bina thoda drama kaise chalega?
The film features a stellar cast, including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Suresh Oberoi, Shakti Kapoor, and Prem Chopra. It hit Netflix on January 26.
