Everywhere I Go, It’s ‘When’s Don 3? When’s Mirzapur 3?’ – Farhan Akhtar’s New National Anthem

Brace yourselves, Bollywood fans! The irreverent Bollywood Newshound Nisha is here to spill the beans on all things filmy!

Mumbai (Maharashtra): So, the ever-talented Farhan Akhtar showed up at the trailer launch for the much-awaited third season of Mirzapur on Thursday. And guess what? The man practically oozed gratitude for all the fan love! đŸ„°

Farhan, who wears many hats—actor, filmmaker, producer—couldn’t stop gushing about the audience’s adoration for Mirzapur. "It’s all thanks to you guys," he said, almost like he’s accepting an award at the Oscars. And oh, the talent on stage? He didn’t forget them either. Kudos to the writers and the Prime Video team too, because apparently, collaboration is the new black!

But here’s the kicker! Farhan humorously revealed that whenever he steps out, he’s bombarded with questions about Don 3 and Mirzapur 3. Like, seriously people, give the man a break! "I’m thrilled Mirzapur 3 is finally happening," he chuckled.

Director and Executive Producer Gurmmeet Singh also chimed in, waxing lyrical about how the first two seasons of Mirzapur were game-changers for the crime thriller genre in India’s streaming landscape. Oh, really? 🙄 With Season 3, they’re apparently raising the stakes and broadening the canvas. Sounds like an art class gone rogue! "The hiatus is over, and we can’t wait for the global premiere on Prime Video," he said, trying to sound all serious and stuff.

For those who’ve been living under a rock, the first season dropped in 2018, followed by the second in 2020. And now, as we eagerly await the third season in July, actor Ali Fazal took a nostalgic trip down memory lane. He reminisced about the trials and tribulations of playing Guddu Pandit. "I’ve tried to capture this innocent boy’s essence despite his tragic circumstances," Ali shared, probably with a dramatic sigh. 🎭

Ali went on about how he doesn’t belong to Guddu’s world but analyzed the character deeply. "It’s been a journey, understanding how he interacts, thinks, and exists in such a corrupt world," he elaborated. Talk about method acting! He explained how embodying Guddu required immense compassion and detachment. "I hope my portrayal brings some heart to the screen," he said, likely wiping away a tear. đŸ„ș

So, mark your calendars, folks! Mirzapur 3 hits Prime Video on July 5. 🎬

Nisha’s Nutshell:
In Bollywood, patience isn’t just a virtue; it’s a survival skill. Whether you’re waiting for Don 3, Mirzapur 3, or Farhan Akhtar to answer your questions, remember: good things come to those who wait
 and wait
 and wait. đŸŽ„
