The internet went full-on drama mode targeting PM Modi, questioning how he would congratulate her after she accused the former Wrestling Federation of India chief of molestation. Yeh toh hona hi tha!
But just like a plot twist straight out of a Karan Johar movie, Phogat’s chance at gold vanished quicker than a magician’s trick. Turns out, she was 100 gms overweight! Can you believe it? PM Modi, who had been mum about her achievement, suddenly found his Twitter fingers.

Talking to the media, she dropped this gem: “It is very surprising, bada ajeeb sa lagta hai. 100 gm ki wajah se wo disqualify ho gayi to kitna mahattava hai apne wazan ko theek se rakhna, humlog ko isse accha seekh milna chahiye. Hum sab kalakaron ko, aur mahilaaon ko, sabko. Ki 100 gm also matters a lot. We feel very sad for her. I wish she loses that 100 gm quickly lekin milega nahi ab.”
