So, dosto, the big news is that the HindiMovieNews (BCCL) decided to give their beloved TOIFA a digital twist. Yup, they’ve launched their OTT edition to honor the best of Hindi films and TV shows on streaming platforms from January 1 to December 31, 2023. Matlab, ab OTT stars bhi chamakenge! 🌟
The press conference for this dhamakedaar announcement was held in Mumbai. Present were Mr. Sivakumar Sundaram, the big boss of publishing at BCCL, along with film producer Siddharth Roy Kapur and Shibasish Sarkar, the head honcho of the Producers Guild of India. These big shots showed their josh for the revamped TOIFA, emphasizing its role in highlighting the booming Indian entertainment industry.
Mr. Sivakumar Sundaram was all excited and said, "TOIFA has become the ultimate awards platform for the Indian film industry. This year, recognizing the growing importance of streaming platforms, we’re thrilled to launch the TOIFA – Hindi OTT edition. With a rigorous voting process in collaboration with the Producers Guild of India, we’ll celebrate top talent across 28 different OTT award categories." Arre waah, kya baat hai! 🎉
Shibasish Sarkar also chimed in, saying, "We’re thrilled to partner with the TOIFA OTT Awards. We believe these awards will provide credible and prestigious recognition for outstanding work in the streaming space, especially since the jury/academy members from the Producers Guild of India will be voting on various award categories." Bas, ab dekhna hai kaun kitna dum lagata hai!
The TOIFA Awards aim to offer recognition across the entire Indian entertainment sector, showcasing the best work in the industry.
