I’m Not Playing Musical Chairs With Men While Pretending to Be Innocent…

Ah, Bollywood! The land of dreams, drama, and of course, catfights that make the saas-bahu sagas seem tame. Once upon a time in the glitzy ’90s, our beloved Karisma Kapoor wasn’t just dancing to hit numbers, she was also making headlines with her fiery comments. Today, let’s dive into a throwback tale of when Lolo, as her pals fondly call her, decided to give a verbal chappal to her fellow divas, Pooja Bhatt and Manisha Koirala!

Karisma Kapoor, the darling of the late ’90s and early 2000s, wasn’t just known for her dance moves and hit films like Raja Babu and Biwi No 1. No, no! She was also quite the bindaas (bold) speaker. In a fiery interview with Stardust, she decided to serve some kadak (strong) opinions on her contemporaries.

When asked about the whispers that Pooja Bhatt and Manisha Koirala thought she was too ‘pompous and arrogant’, Karisma didn’t hold back. "Arre yaar, why can’t these girls zip it for a change?" she quipped, exasperated by their constant chatter about her. "Every time they open their mouth, my name pops up. Kya problem hai inki? Yes, I’m a Kapoor, and I’m proud of it!"

Lolo didn’t stop there. She aimed another zinger at the duo for not having a surname like "Kapoor" to flaunt. "It’s not my fault these poor souls lack a famous last name. Just because I’m a Kapoor, I’m straightforward and not a hypocrite. Unlike some, I don’t claim to be a virgin while being a rangeen (colorful) social butterfly. It’s their problem, not mine!"

And if you thought that was it, wait—there’s more! Karisma had a special message for Pooja Bhatt, who allegedly had been saying unsavory things about her mother, Babita Kapoor. "What’s her bloody problem? If something’s troubling her, she should just come to me directly. Why drag parents into this mud-slinging mess?"

Karisma, with her no-nonsense attitude, delivered some pretty iconic films and was last seen in the Netflix film Murder Mubarak. She’s always been someone who speaks her mind, and that’s what makes her stand out in the glitzy world of Bollywood.

Kiran’s Gyan: In Bollywood, it’s not just the naam (name) that sells, but also the daam (price) of what you’re willing to say. Remember, darlings, in this industry, silence might be golden, but a good catfight? Priceless! 😜

Stay tuned for more masaledaar (spicy) Bollywood scoops!
