Ranvir Shorey: From Silver Screen to Small Screen Drama!

Arre bhai, kya zamana aa gaya hai! Our very own indie gem Ranvir Shorey has decided to jump into the Bigg Boss OTT 3 circus! Yep, you heard that right! 🤯 The guy who gave us gems like "Khosla Ka Ghosla" and "Bheja Fry" is now fighting for survival in the Bigg Boss house. Hosted by none other than Mr. Jhakaas himself, Anil Kapoor, this season kick-started on June 21.

When Ranvir introduced himself to fellow contestant Shivani Kumari, he dropped a bombshell, “I am an actor. I did my first film in 1999. If I had work, why would I be here today?” Ouch! Talk about zindagi ki sachchai hitting hard. 😕

Divya Dutta’s Take on Ranvir’s Bigg Boss Entry!

Our own multitasking diva, Divya Dutta, had some interesting tidbits to share about Ranvir’s career choices. When quizzed by Siddharth Kanan about why a talent like Ranvir is out of work, Divya had this to say, “Here we have a lot of flavours of the season. It’s like if you keep a diamond here, then everyone will want that and then in the next five-six films you will see the same actor. Then, their attention will shift, and they will look at the next diamond. So, it is rotating, but my case was different, I have been consistent maybe because I divide my work.”

Divya added, “It can’t be like he is not getting work, especially with OTT coming in. But an actor also has that will, where they feel they don’t want to do certain roles. Maybe he is going through that phase.”

Divya and Ranvir have shared the screen in multiple films, including "Manto" and "Aaja Nachle". When asked to describe Ranvir, Divya fondly called him a fun person.

Anil Kapoor’s Bigg Boss Debut!

Adding more tadka to this season is Anil Kapoor, who’s making his reality show hosting debut with Bigg Boss OTT 3. After Salman Khan and Karan Johar, it’s Anil’s turn to add his own flair to the mix.
