Inspector Ghalib: A Dream Stuck in Limbo 🚔

Madhur Bhandarkar, the master of crafting tales around female protagonists, from Fashion to Page 3, once toyed with the idea of teaming up with our very own King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan! The project? Inspector Ghalib – a thrilling tale of a cop from Uttar Pradesh. But alas, filmon ka chakkar bhi na, kabhi chal jaye, kabhi latak jaye!

In a recent chit-chat, Madhur spilled the beans about how much he still adores the script. "Woh script toh maine dhyan se sambhal ke rakhi hai," he confessed, hinting at his hopes to someday bring it to life. But like a typical Bollywood plot, twists and turns derailed the project – pandemic ho ya contact loss, sab kuch khatam kar diya.

Yet, our dear Madhur is not one to lose hope. "Kabhi na kabhi toh banaunga," he assures. Just like Bollywood ka asli hero, he promises to someday dust off the script and give it the spotlight it deserves.

In the meantime, Madhur’s creative juices are flowing elsewhere with projects set in Mumbai’s bustling heart and another juicy tale about the glamorous lives of Bollywood ke biwiyan. As for SRK, he’s busy juggling the sets of King with his beti, Suhana Khan, while also gearing up for the much-anticipated sequel to Pathaan.
