Her independence and strong opinions have set her apart, and she insists her patriotism runs deep without needing a political stage. "Calling me a soldier isn’t wrong. After all, I am a soldier’s daughter and sister. We fauji kids, we’re wired differently. We’re just Indians," she wrote. Patriotism—check, Politics—no thanks!
While fans might be dreaming of Preity in parliament, she’s got her sights set on Lahore 1947, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan. With AR Rahman’s music and Javed Akhtar’s lyrics, the film’s already creating waves.
