Ever since the ever-talented director Siddharth Anand posted the first snapshots of Saif from Budapest, it’s been all the rage. Recently, our very own Kunal Kapoor took to the Gram to announce the film’s wrap up. He shared some candid shots featuring the handsome Saif Ali Khan, the gorgeous Nikita Dutta, the gifted director Robbie Grewal, and the perky team members.

Guess what Kunal captioned his post? “I’m the senior most actor so I think I should be the one to announce ‘it’s a wrap.’ But I’m the director, and what happened to ‘ladies first.’ Ok let’s all just compromise and do a group photo to call it! Or better still, let’s just get the whole unit together to say it’s a wrap, people.” Ha! Talk about being a sport.

Back in May, Siddharth Anand had posted some snapshots with Saif, captioning it, “Back on set with my first hero! How can nothing change! Haha! Love you Saif!” They were seen twinning in black, posing in front of some iconic structures. All this camaraderie is making my filmy heart flutter.

Earlier, Saif had confirmed working with Siddharth, but he played coy and didn’t spill any more beans. According to them, Siddharth Anand will be producing Jewel Thief while Robbie Grewal will be waving the director’s wand.

The film reportedly revolves around a time-pressured rescuer, played by Saif. Jaideep Ahlawat is said to play the villain. My sources whisper that the action thriller will have a direct OTT release.

The insider gossip is that Robbie Grewal’s ‘RAW: Romeo Akhbar Walter’ will be registered under Siddharth Anand’s banner. The film, despite being named ‘Jewel Thief’, has no connection with the original classic starring the legendary Dev Anand. Siddharth Anand had this title registered under his banner and believes it suits the theme of this Robbie Grewal directorial perfectly.

One cannot forget to mention that Saif Ali Khan was last seen in ‘Vikram Vedha’, alongside Hrithik Roshan. The ever-impressive Radhika Apte also graced the film with her presence.

In other news, Kunal Kapoor is all set to play a vigilante in an upcoming action-packed web series.
