In a recent chit-chat with Connect Cine, Junaid spilled the beans on why he gives his daddy dearest, Aamir Khan, a headache. Aamir had earlier mentioned his son’s refusal to use a car, to which Junaid cheekily responded, "Arre yaar, papa makes a big deal out of small things. I just travel the easiest way. Rickshaws are convenient and parking ka tension bhi nahi hota."

Junaid’s debut role in Maharaj is anything but ordinary. Playing the role of reformer and journalist Karsandas Mulji, the movie dives into the murky waters of spiritual exploitation. Chatting with PTI, Junaid said, “I don’t know about it being unconventional because YRF is a big banner and Sid sir wanted me in the film. The story is inherently very dramatic.”
