But hereâs where it gets juicier. Kamal thought the world had just one sun in Mr. Sivaji until he discovered another blazing star in Dilip Kumar. Oh, the drama! Kamal admits that his geographical location on the southern tip of India delayed his discovery of Dilip Kumar. Can you imagine if he had found Dilip first? What a plot twist! đ
Talking about the legendary Dilip Kumar, Kamal gushed about how Mr. Kumar was way ahead of his timeâso international, darling! Kamal mentioned that due to some political shenanigans, Hindi films were a rare commodity, which is why he caught up on Dilipâs work much later. And get thisâduring one of their conversations, Kamal told Dilip he had seen "Ganga Jumna." Dilip, with all his legendary charm, seemed puzzled, probably wondering if Kamal was pulling his leg. Kamal also revealed his annual pilgrimage to Dilip Kumarâs house every December, where he would kneel and kiss the great manâs hand. Talk about devotion! Clearly, Kamal was a die-hard fan before he ever became a film star.
