Kangana Ranaut Advocates for Online Content Censorship; Blames it for Women’s Objectification | Bollywood

Namaste doston! Ready for the latest Bollywood gossip? Well, Khabree Kiran is here to spill the chai! Brace yourselves for some masala.

Kangana Ka Gyaan on OTT and Censorship

Arre bhai, Kangana Ranaut is back in action, and this time she’s got her eyes set on OTT platforms. Iss baar, she’s not talking about her upcoming movie "Emergency" (though she’s super excited for it, obviously), but about how OTT content needs a serious dose of censorship. Kyun bhai? Because according to Kangana, these platforms are becoming a breeding ground for the objectification of women. 😲

Kya Bola Kangana?

In a recent heart-to-heart with The Times of India, Kangana ne kaha, "Yaar, the content on OTT is getting way too violent and disturbing. People are glued to their screens with headphones on, watching all sorts of nonsense. This is leading to a huge rise in the objectification of women. Online shows, YouTube included, need to be censored. Other countries are ahead of us in this, and it’s about time we catch up. Look at the kind of cases popping up in India, it’s downright scary."

Feminism ka Tadka

Aur yeh toh bas shuruaat thi. Discussing feminism, Kangana said, “Honestly, mujhe lagta hai ki feminism ko itna toxic nahi banna chahiye ke hum auraton ko mardon jaisa banane lagein. Women have the birthright to be nurtured, loved, admired, and protected. Toh, culture ko toxic banane se bachaana chahiye kyunki hum extremes par chale jaate hain.”

Thoda Aur Masala

Now, for those who’ve been living under a rock, Kangana is gearing up to portray the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in "Emergency." The film features a star filled cast including Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik. Produced by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films, the movie takes us back to one of India’s most chaotic political phases. And guess what? It hits the theatres on September 6. Mark your calendars, folks!

Kiran’s Gyan 😎

Arey bhai, Bollywood and censorship? That’s like golgappa without the pani! Always spicy, sometimes a bit too much, but utterly irresistible. As for Kangana, well, she’s never one to mince her words. Mera toh yeh kehna hai, whether it’s OTT or big screens, thoda tadka zaroori hai, but let’s not forget the asli masala – respect and dignity!
