Kangana Ranaut and Deepika Padukone: The Driving School Saga!

Arre bhai, Bollywood ki duniya mein kya kya nahi hota! 😆 So, here’s your daily dose of filmi gupshup straight from the horse’s mouth, or should I say, the diva’s mouth? Guess who’s failing at driving lessons? None other than our own Queen Kangana Ranaut! And guess who’s the unintentional inspiration? Mrs. Chhapaak herself, Deepika Padukone!

Kangana’s Driving Disaster

Toh suno, Kangana was chatting away on The Bombay Journey with Mashable India and what a tale she had to share! Kangana and Deepika apparently went to the same driving school in Bandra. Hanji, the same place! Kangana was all set to get her license, but alas, madam ne toh car ko aur ek vehicle pe hi chadha diya! Twice!! Can you believe it? 🚗💥

"Both times when it came to getting the driving license, I slammed my car! Me and Deepika came around the same time, she in 2007 and me in 2006. So we were at the driving school at the same time in Bandra. It was the same driving school. I said I want to drive, so I learnt it there… So they told me you will get your license today. Then I slammed my car on a rickshaw. I pulled the accelerator instead of the brakes," she revealed.

Deepika’s Influence and Kangana’s Second Attempt

Kangana ki life mein tab ek twist aaya jab she saw Deepika coolly driving her SUV at an event. Wah, kya baat hai! Seeing Deepika, Kangana thought, "Woh toh drive kar rahi hai, woh toh mere saath seekh rahi thi! Phir maine kaha, ‘Ab toh seekh ke hi rahungi!’"

With her determination rekindled, she tried again. But, unfortunately, history repeated itself. “I told Rangoli that all my peers were driving and I again learnt. But again on the training day, I slammed my car on a police jeep! My driver sat beside me and said you slammed your BMW! When the police came I said your jeep is okay my car got all the marks! I left driving that time,” she lamented. 😂

Kangana’s Upcoming Film

Fans, don’t worry about Kangana’s driving skills because she’s all set to rule the screen with Emergency, her directorial debut. She’s playing none other than Indira Gandhi during the infamous Emergency period in 1975. Mark your calendars, doston! The film releases on September 6.
