Kangana Ranaut ne phir se sabko shock kar diya with her recent revelation. Imagine having to sell your Rs 32 crore ka Mumbai office! Yup, you heard that right. Kangana, the queen of controversy, had to let go of her swanky Pali Hill property.

“Ab bhai, film release hone wali thi. Maine apni sari property daav pe laga di thi. Ab jab release nahi hui, toh crisis ke liye properties hoti hain na,” Kangana ne kaha.

Arre wah, such wisdom! So, she bought this prime property in 2017 for Rs 20 crore and set up her Manikarnika Films office in 2019. But 2020 ne kya kya nahi dekha? Her office got partially demolished by BMC due to alleged structural violations. Kangana claimed compensation but then decided to let it go because it’s taxpayers’ money. Emergency Ka Emergency! 🚨

Speaking of crises, Kangana’s directorial venture Emergency, co-produced by Manikarnika Films and Zee Studios, was supposed to hit the screens on September 6. Lekin kya hua? On the very day, Kangana took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and said:

“With a heavy heart I announce that my directorial Emergency has been postponed, we are still waiting for the certification from censor board, new release date will be announced soon, thanks for your understanding and patience.”

Arre yaar, censor certificate nahi mila! The film, a biographical political thriller about Indira Gandhi’s 21-month emergency period from 1975 to 1977, has been facing some serious controversies. Sikh groups ne bhi kaafi backlash diya hai.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises, the co-producer, approached the Bombay High Court for the film’s release and censor certificate. Guess what? The court couldn’t direct the CBFC to issue the certificate because it would contradict the MP High Court order. CBFC ko bola gaya to decide by September 18. Ab next hearing is scheduled for September 19. While the film has finally been certified with some cuts, new release date abhi bhi suspense mein hai!
