Kangana Ranaut’s Mantra for India’s Progress: Embrace the ‘Obsessive’ Grind and Ditch the Weekend Hype

Hello, Bollywood buffs! It’s your favorite snoop, Bollywood Newshound Nisha, back with another spicy scoop from the ever-dramatic world of Hindi cinema. Hold onto your popcorn because this one’s a doozy! 🍿

Kangana’s Workaholic Wisdom (Or So She Thinks)

Buckle up, folks! Kangana Ranaut, our very own drama queen-turned-politician, has a grand vision for the Indian workforce. She wants us all to become workaholics. Yes, you heard it right! According to Kangana, we should be "obsessed" with work if we want India to progress. Because, apparently, weekends and Monday memes are just "western brainwashing." 🙄

Sharing a video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi preaching about working 24×7, Kangana took to Instagram to enlighten us about her newfound philosophy. She passionately wrote, “We need to normalise obsessive work culture and stop with the waiting for the weekends and crib about Mondays memes, that’s all western brainwashing we are not a developed nation yet.”

Murthy’s Musings: The Original Workaholic Advocate

Before you think Kangana’s gone off the deep end (again), let me remind you she’s not alone in this workaholic crusade. Narayana Murthy, the Infosys founder, had a similar epiphany earlier this year. In a podcast chat with Mohandas Pai, Murthy lamented about India’s low work productivity and urged our youth to clock in 70 hours a week. Because, why not aim to be as burnt out as our friends in China and Japan?

Murthy’s exact words? "India’s work productivity is one of the lowest in the world. Unless we improve our work productivity…we will not be able to compete with those countries that have made tremendous progress. If we want to compete with the fastest growing countries like China and Japan, we need to boost up our work productivity." And there you have it, folks. The gospel according to Murthy.

Kangana: From Bollywood to Ballot Box

In case you missed it, Kangana’s political journey has been nothing short of a Bollywood thriller. She recently made her electoral debut, smashing her Congress rival in Mandi by over 74,000 votes. 🎉

But wait, the drama doesn’t end there! Just a day after her victory, Kangana had a run-in with a woman CISF constable at Chandigarh airport. Allegedly, the constable, upset over Kangana’s stance on the farmers’ protests, hit her in the face and hurled abuses. Talk about a sore loser! The constable, Kulwinder Kaur, was suspended faster than you can say "action," and an FIR was lodged against her.

Nisha’s Nutshell:

Here’s the moral of today’s Bollywood tale, folks: If you want to be a hero (or a heroine), forget your weekends, grab some extra coffee, and prepare to work till you drop. Because in Bollywood, and apparently in politics, drama never takes a day off!
