Karan’s Real Talk
So, KJo (yes, we’re on nickname terms now) sat down with the one and only Komal Nahta and got candid about his journey in Bollywood. He confessed, “You know, I didn’t always think I was a big shot. It was only during ‘My Name Is Khan’ that I realized, ‘Hey, maybe I’m not just winging it!’” But wait, there’s more! Karan admits he believes he’s had more luck than actual talent. Arre, Karan! Pehle kyun nahi bataya? 😅
Delusion Alert! 🚨
Karan didn’t hold back and dropped a truth bomb or two. “Bollywood mein kuch log aise hain, jo sapnon ki duniya mein hi jee rahe hain. Delusion ka koi vaccination nahi hai, warna main sabko de deta!” he mused. Apparently, some filmmakers are in such denial that even reality has stopped taking their calls. 📞
80% Realistic, 20% Aspiration
Continuing his chat, Karan revealed, “I’m all about keeping it real—80% of the time. The rest? Maybe I’m dreaming a little. Some folks, though, are just living a full-on Bollywood fantasy.” Well, Karan, kabhi kabhi khud se jhoot bolna bhi zaroori hai, right? 😂
A Flashback to Karan’s Directorial Debut
For those living under a rock (or a pile of old movie scripts), Karan first graced the director’s chair with ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ back in 1998. Fast forward to 2023, and he blessed us with ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,’ starring the ever-dashing Ranveer Singh and the lovely Alia Bhatt, among others. Karan, you’re on a roll!
