Oh bhai, Kareena Kapoor ne phir se Bollywood ki duniya mein ek aur jhatka de diya hai apni latest thriller "The Buckingham Murders" ke saath. Hansal Mehta ji ke saath milke, yeh film pichle hafte ki only new Bollywood release thi. Aur kya dhamaka kiya hai!
Opening Weekend Figures
Sun lo, "The Buckingham Murders" ne apne pehle weekend mein domestic box office pe ₹5.30 crore ki kamai kar li. Kya baat hai! Opening day (Friday) pe ₹1.15 crore, fir Saturday ko ₹1.95 crore aur Sunday ko ₹2.20 crore. Wah, wah! 🎉
Aur suno, film ke do versions release hue hain – ek Hinglish version (80% English dialogues aur 20% Hindi) aur ek Hindi dubbed version. Hindi version ne Hinglish se zyada dhamaka kiya, Friday ko ₹0.7 crore aur Saturday ko ₹1.2 crore kama ke. Hinglish version ne ₹0.45 crore aur ₹0.75 crore kamaaye. Sunday ka breakup abhi tak nahi mila, par jo bhi ho, film toh hit hai yaar!
About The Buckingham Murders
Waise toh film ki kahani mystery se bhari hai, lekin thoda spoiler toh banta hai. Kareena Kapoor, sergeant Jasmeet ‘Jass’ Bhamra ka role play kar rahi hain, jo apne bete Ekam (Mairaaj Kakkar) ke loss ko handle kar rahi hain. Usko ek missing boy, Ishpreet, ka case milta hai jo uske bete jitna hi chhota hai. Film mein Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, aur Keith Allen bhi hain. Aur haan, yeh film Kareena ka producer debut bhi hai. Wah Bebo, kya baat hai! 💪
Hindustan Times ke review mein likha tha, “Kareena is the heartbeat of this film. 20 minutes ke andar, tum bhool jaoge ki yeh wahi Geet hai jo Jab We Met mein constant bakbak karti thi, ya phir Crew mein money-minded air hostess. Kareena ka pain aur anger perfect hai, bas wo scene chod ke jaha wo frustration mein chillati hai.”
