It’s been all work and no dilwale dulhaniya for this star, thanks to the intense prep for his role as a boxer-turned-para swimmer in Chandu Champion.

Kartik revealed that his training regimen was so strict, it was like living the life of an athlete. Gym, khaana, sona—everything was jotted down to the T for two years straight. Aur bhai, swimming bhi seekhne mein lag gaya saara time! With Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also on his plate, Kartik was busier than a Mumbai local at rush hour.

Speaking of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the film has been doing dhamaal at the box office. Released during Diwali, it has already raked in more than ₹150 crore worldwide in its first weekend! Wah bhai, Kartik! Monday ka bhi din acha tha with ₹17.50 crore net in India, taking the domestic total to ₹123.50 crore in just four days. Overseas bhi, film ka jalwa with a cool ₹30 crore gross.
