As if this tale couldn’t get darker, Renukawami’s postmortem report revealed he was tortured with electric shocks before being murdered. His body bore multiple injuries, and he was missing an ear. Yes, you read that right. His private parts were also injured, and his body had been partially gnawed by dogs. I mean, Bollywood thrillers have nothing on this real-life horror story. 😱

Two More Days in Custody

Darshan and his two partners in crime get an extended stay in custody, courtesy of Bengaluru police. Meanwhile, sixteen other accused have already been sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Darshan has been behind bars since June 11, and all this time, the police have been piecing together this grim jigsaw puzzle.

He started bombarding Pavitra with messages, initially ignored, but later escalating to threats and inappropriate texts.

Pavitra, feeling threatened by Renukawami’s messages, apparently goaded Darshan into "handling" the situation. Darshan, never one to back down, kidnapped Renukawami with the help of his cronies and took him to a godown. There, in true villain style, they tortured him before finally ending his life. After the murder, Darshan’s blood-soaked buddies took a quick shopping trip to a nearby Reliance store to buy new clothes. Talk about crime and retail therapy!

The Discovery

Renukawami’s body was found on June 9 near an apartment in Kamakshipalya, Bengaluru. CCTV footage showed Darshan and Pavitra leaving the crime scene, with their mobile numbers active in the area from 11 PM to 3 AM. Following this damning evidence, the police arrested Darshan and Pavitra on June 11. To date, 19 people have been hauled in for this sordid affair.
