Mihir Ahuja: Chasing Variety in Bollywood Roles

Lights, Camera, Action! 🎬 Bollywood’s new star on the block, Mihir Ahuja, is giving us some serious acting goals! This boy ain’t about to let himself be typecast, nahi bhai! Known for his role as Jughead in Netflix’s "The Archies", Mihir is on a mission to show off his versatility. And let me tell you, he’s not just talking the talk, he’s walking the walk! 😉

Mihir, who’s 26 and already making waves, recently made his international debut with the India-Australian film "Hindi Vindi". He said, "Yaar, I want to be like a chameleon, trying different genres and roles. Being stuck in one genre? Bilkul nahi!" Looks like Bollywood ki duniya has a new jack-of-all-trades, and we’re here for it!

The movie "Hindi Vindi" hit the screens in Australia last month and is a musical-drama exploring the bond between a grandmother and her Australian-Indian grandchild, Kabir. Directed by Ali Sayed, with a script co-written by Jay Sharma, it’s got all the feels. And guess what? Mihir’s musical connection continues! From playing the mouth organ in “Taj Mahal 1989” to beating the drums in “The Archies”, he’s now a vocalist in “Hindi Vindi”. Acha, Mihir bhai, kya music ka bond hai!

Mihir shared, "I’ve been lucky enough to do projects where music is involved. Even as a kid, I had a knack for music. It feels like the universe is nudging me to explore music further. So, kuch dhamaka hone wala hai soon…" 🎶 Oh, Mihir, we can’t wait for you to unleash your inner rockstar!

But wait, there’s more! Mihir is also gearing up for his next series “Maa Ka Sum”, a math-themed coming-of-age drama. With a star filled cast including Mona Singh, Angira Dhar, and Ranveer Brar, this Amazon original is directed by Nicholas Kharkongor. It’s about a 19-year-old math whiz creating an algorithm to find the perfect match for his lively single mom. Talk about a genius plan, but will it work? 🤔

Mihir’s been rubbing shoulders with the industry’s legends, like Mona Singh in “Maa Ka Sum”, Anupam Kher in “Vijay 69”, and Gupta in “Hindi Vindi”. He gushes, "Just observing these veterans on set is such a learning experience." Well, Mihir, you’re in good company!

Kiran’s Gyan: In Bollywood, it’s not just about acting; it’s about being a jack-of-all-trades! 🎭 Aur bhai, agar chameleon ban sakte ho, toh hero bhi ban sakte ho! So, be like Mihir, mix up those genres, and keep the audience guessing! 😜
