On The Ranveer Show podcast, Mukesh Chhabra declared, “Nitesh bhai had decided to cast Ranbir very early in the process, and once you watch the film, you’ll see why it’s such an apt casting. I think the actors I’ve worked with the most in my career are Ranbir and Rajkummar Rao. Nobody can beat Ranbir when it comes to acting.”

Mukesh further mentioned that Ranbir Kapoor is all about acting; hits or flops don’t bother him much. Waise bhi, promotions are not his cup of chai. All he wants to do is act! 🎭

Mukesh Chhabra shared his close observations of Ranbir’s performances in films like ‘Rockstar,’ ‘Tamasha,’ ‘Sanju,’ and ‘Bombay Velvet.’ According to him, Ranbir’s biggest talent is in making everything look effortless. “With some actors, you see them putting in the extra effort in workshops, but when you see them on screen, you can’t tell. Ranbir doesn’t let anybody see the effort he’s putting into his performances,” he said.

However, casting Lakshman was a different ball game altogether. It seems no one wanted to play second fiddle to Ranbir Kapoor. Vaise, rumor has it that Ravi Dubey has been finalized for the role.
