His 14-year-old daughter, Shora, is all set to follow in Daddy’s illustrious footsteps. 🎬 She’s knee-deep in acting training, and Nawaz is already bracing himself for the inevitable nepotism debates.

Apparently, young Shora didn’t wait for Daddy Dearest to pull strings. She went solo, hands folded in a Namaste 🙏, and requested admission into the Performing Arts faculty, declaring her love for acting. Now, that’s what I call gutsy!
Nawaz, currently busy promoting his upcoming flick ‘Rautu Ka Raj,’ shared this little nugget in an interview with Film Companion. The girl’s got spunk, I’ll give her that.
And it doesn’t end there. Nawaz revealed that Shora’s school play is a full-on DIY project. From sewing her own costumes to crafting props, she’s doing it all. Talk about being a one-woman show! 🎭

Nawaz, the ever-supportive dad, has a simple mantra: "Do what interests you." He’s noticed her passion and is all in for her dreams. Summer workshops, acting courses—you name it, she’s on it. When asked if he’d teach her acting, Nawaz chuckled, "Nope, ghar ki murgi daal barabar (A prophet is without honor in his own home)." Instead, Shora is a voracious consumer of world cinema, watching at least one film a day. She even performed a scene for Nawaz, leaving him impressed and a bit speechless.
