Pankaj Tripathi spills the beans on handling flop films: ‘Why should I feel bad?’ | Bollywood

Namaste Bollywood ke deewano! It’s your favorite Bollywood snoop, Khabree Kiran, back with some spicy, crispy news straight from the filmy duniya. Grab your chai, because yeh news hai ekdum garma garam! đŸ€

Pankaj Tripathi’s Box Office Blues? Not So Fast!

So, our beloved Pankaj Tripathi, the sabka favourite actor with the golden touch, had his last solo release, Main Atal Hoon, which is a biopic of the former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The movie raked in â‚č9.95 crore in India. Not too shabby, but not exactly setting box office records on fire either.

But does Pankaj bhaiya care? Nahi yaar! "Why should I feel bad?" he asks, in his classic, laid-back style. "If I know that I’ve given my 100 per cent during the shoot and stayed true to my craft, why should I feel bad about it?" Waah waah, kya baat hai! 🙌

He further elaborates, understanding the box office business like a pro. "Fortunately, all the films I have done, whether or not they were box office successes, have managed to return money to the producers. I know the math," he says. Arey waah, ab toh actor bhi accountant ban gaya! 😜

Main Atal Hoon – The Tale of a Statesman

Main Atal Hoon is directed by Ravi Jadhav, written by Rishi Virmani, and produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Sandeep Singh, and Kamlesh Bhanushali. Released on January 19, 2024, the film collected â‚č12.49 crore worldwide. It seems like people are still interested in political biopics, but maybe not enough to make it a blockbuster.

Mirzapur Madness Continues

If you thought Pankaj was taking it easy, think again! He was last seen in Mirzapur season 3, the Prime Video India web series that has everyone hooked. Starring alongside Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, and Vijay Varma, Pankaj plays Kaleen Bhaiyya, the King of Mirzapur, in a power struggle against the Pandit Brothers. It’s a full-on dhamaka of a series, with politics and business all tangled up in the chaos.

Stree 2 – Pankaj’s Next Big Thing

What’s next for our versatile actor? Pankaj will be seen in the horror-comedy Stree 2, starring alongside Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. Set to release on August 15, this film promises a new ghostly terror called Sarkata—just a head without a body! Scary or funny? Only time will tell! 😂

Kiran’s Gyan:
Bollywood mein, success ka asli raaz hai: "Kisi bhi film ko bas dil se karo, box office ka tension mat lo. Aur agar film flop bhi ho jaye, toh bhi ghar pe maa ke haath ka rajma chawal toh milega hi!" 😜

That’s all for today, folks! Until next time, keep your filmy antennas raised and your popcorn ready! 🎬🍿
