Preity Zinta Spills the Beans on IVF Journey Before Embracing Surrogacy | Bollywood

Preity Zinta: "Smiling through IVF was tougher than a Bollywood dance routine!"

Arre bhai, Bollywood aur drama – inse kaun bach sakta hai? Your very own Khabree Kiran here, giving you the inside scoop on our very own dimpled diva, Preity Zinta! And trust me, this one’s more emotional than a Karan Johar movie climax! 😅

So, our beloved Preity, who’s always been the epitome of smiley, happy-go-lucky vibes, spilled some serious beans in a chat with Vogue India. Turns out, behind that ever-glowing smile, there was a storm brewing. Yep, she opened up about her IVF journey and boy, it wasn’t all sunshine and roses. 😔

What Preity said

When asked about her comeback with Lahore 1947, Preity went all philosophical on us. She said, “Career is important, but let’s face it, life’s not a bed of roses, especially for us women. The biological clock is ticking faster than a Bollywood masala movie plot! While you’re focusing on your craft, the family also demands attention. Now that my twins are over two years old, I feel ready to jump back into the acting game.”

The IVF Struggle – Not All Smiles and Sunshine

Our dimpled queen didn’t hold back when talking about her IVF journey. “Yaar, it’s not easy to be all smiley and nice 24×7. During those IVF cycles, I had days where I just wanted to bang my head against the wall and cry. Seriously, it was a balancing act, trying to keep up appearances while dealing with internal turmoil,” she shared.

Imagine trying to do a Bollywood dance routine with a broken leg!

Preity’s all set to make her grand re-entry into Bollywood with Rajkumar Santoshi’s Lahore 1947. The film, announced last October, also stars Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal, and the dhai kilo ka haath guy himself, Sunny Deol, along with his elder son Karan Deol.

As for her personal life, Preity and her husband Gene Goodenough (yes, that’s his real name, not a Bollywood scriptwriter’s imagination!) welcomed twins, Jai and Gia, in November 2021 via surrogacy. So, double the trouble and double the joy, eh? 😜

Kiran’s Gyan

But remember, behind every glamorous smile, there’s a story of grit and perseverance. So next time you see those dazzling smiles on screen, know there’s more to it than meets the eye! 😉

Till next time, stay filmy and fabulous! 💃🕺
