Priyanka Chopra slams ‘vile’ terror attack on pilgrims; questions ‘Why target innocents and kids?’

Ah, another day, another Bollywood drama. This time, our very own desi girl, Priyanka Chopra, has taken to Instagram to voice her outrage over a recent terror attack on innocent pilgrims in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district.

This heinous attack on innocent pilgrims is horrific. Why civilians and children?! It’s so hard to comprehend the hatred we’re witnessing around the world,” she wrote. Priyanka, who moonlights as a UNICEF ambassador when she’s not busy conquering Hollywood, has previously raised her voice against violence and other humanitarian crises. Remember the ‘Artists for Ceasefire’ petition? Yep, she was right there, pen in hand, demanding peace in Gaza. Last December, she even shared a quote from UNICEF’s Catherine Russell, advocating for children in conflict zones. Talk about being a global citizen!

The tragic incident occurred when the bus plunged into a gorge in the Pouni area of Reasi district. It was targeted by terrorists, leading to a catastrophic accident.
