Rajeev Khandelwal’s Bhansali Saga: Ek Saal Ka Intezaar aur Phir
 Kuch Bhi Nahi!

Picture this: Rajeev Khandelwal, the heartthrob of the television world, all set to dazzle on the big screen in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali production. A film that promised the presence of none other than Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan! Sounds dreamy, right? Well, dreams can be deceptive! 😜

Rajeev’s Kahaani

So, apna Rajeev spills the beans in an interview with Siddharth Kannan. Flashback to 2009-2010: Bhansali baba was mesmerized by Rajeev’s look. Picture-perfect Bollywood moment, right? Rajeev was all in, saying, “Bhai, batao, if you want me or not, I am ready!” And after 15 days, voila! Bhansali said, “You’re my guy.” Enter Vibhu Puri, the film’s director, with a script narration that left Rajeev fida. “What a script yaar! Even Amitabh and Vidya were part of it. I thought, ‘This is it!’” Rajeev even did a photoshoot with Vidya for the poster. Bollywood dream, right?

Reality Bites 😭

Fast forward, reality hits harder than a Bollywood slap scene! Rajeev reveals the film never took off. Instead of throwing a tantrum, he took it like a champ. “When I was told the film isn’t happening, I just moved on. No depression, no complaints. But haan, it did feel like my time was wasted, but that’s life.” He sounded like every Bollywood dialogue on resilience ever made! đŸ’Ș Kya baat hai, Rajeev!

Bhansali’s OTT Debut: Heeramandi

Meanwhile, Bhansali sir made his OTT debut with the Netflix show Heeramandi. Set against the Indian independence backdrop, it’s got everything – drama, clash, courtesans, and British Raj officials. Featuring Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, and more, it’s been the talk of the town. And guess what? A second season is already on the cards!

So, what’s the takeaway from this tale of Bollywood dreams and heartbreaks?

Kiran’s Gyan

“Bollywood mein sab kuch milta hai, bas intezaar ka phal kabhi kabhi khatta hota hai! Aur haan, kabhi kabhi, sapne dekhne mein hi maza hai, kyunki reality toh thoda filmy aur zyada tricky hoti hai!”
