Yaar, Bollywood ki duniya mein naam kamaane ke baad bhi, kisi ka bhi din bigad sakta hai! Filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi, jise hum sab Ghayal aur Andaz Apna Apna ke liye jaante hain, ab ek legal jhamela mein phas gaye hain. Haan bhai, sunne mein aaya hai ki Santoshi sahab ka cheque bounce ho gaya, aur ab Delhi Court ne unke khilaaf bailable warrant issue kar diya hai. 😲
Arre bhai, yeh toh Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh ke producer Jhoolan Prasad Gupta ka case hai. Unhone Santoshi sahab par cheque dishonor ka aarop lagaya hai. Kehte hain ki Santoshi ne ek crore ka cheque diya tha, jo bounce ho gaya. Aur court ke orders ko ignore karna toh bhai, naya fashion hai kya? Santoshi sahab ne court ke date pe appear hona zaroori nahi samjha, toh court ne unke khilaaf warrant issue kar diya.

Let’s rewind a bit. Rajkumar Santoshi ka career Ghayal se start hua, and boy, kya dhamaka kiya! Andaz Apna Apna, Barsaat, Ghatak – yeh toh bas shuruat thi. Par ab Santoshi sahab Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh ke chakkar mein legal troubles mein phas gaye hain. Businessman Jhoolan Prasad Gupta ne Section 138 of the NI Act ke tahat Santoshi par case thok diya hai.
Judge sahab ne bhi Santoshi sahab ko ek taraf se thok diya, “Issue fresh B/Ws against the accused no. 2 in the sum of Rs.10,000/- to be executed through SHO concerned on the filing of PF within thirty days from today, returnable on 11.09.2024.” Matlab, bhai Santoshi sahab, ab toh court ke chakkar kaatne hi padenge! Advocate Dilip Kumar ne exemption mangi thi, ki bhai Santoshi ko summons late mile, par court ne bola, “Nahi bhai, April 15 aur July 2 ko summons deliver ho chuke the.” Aur exemption bhi reject ho gaya.

Gupta sahab ne bhi Santoshi ji ko ek tariqe se expose kar diya. Kehte hain, “Mujhe pata tha ki Rajkumar Santoshi ek badhiya director hain, par insaan ke roop mein nahi jaanta tha. Jab unhone paise maange, toh socha bhi nahi tha ki wapas nahi denge. Sabse bura toh yeh tha ki cheque bounce ho gaya. Ab court se nyay ki umeed hai.”
Aur ‘Battle of Saragarhi’ aur ‘Lahore 1947’ ke liye bhi paisa dia aur wapas nahi mila, Gupta sahab ka kehna hai, legal action toh zaroor hoga! Bhai, lagta hai Santoshi sahab ki film se zyada legal battles hit ho rahi hain!
