Arrey bhaiyon aur behno, hold onto your seats! Stree is back to haunt Chanderi once again! Maddock Films ne kal drop kiya Stree 2 ka dhamakedar teaser, and it’s going to be one hell of a ride!
The much-awaited return of Stree has finally arrived, and let’s just say, yeh koi chhoti baat nahi hai! After the 2018 blockbuster, fans have been biting their nails, waiting for the next chapter. This time, Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana are all set to return to the haunted streets of Chanderi. Directed by Amar Kaushik, this teaser was first showcased as a special credit scene with Munjya, and oh boy, did it live up to the hype!
The teaser kicks off with a shot of Stree’s statue outside Chanderi, with the eerie text, ‘O Stree, Raksha Karna’ (Stree, Protest Us). But the men in the village look like they’ve seen a bhoot! Kya hua bhai? Kisne phir se Stree ko chhed diya? She’s back and apparently angrier than ever. 👻
The teaser, while not giving much away (how typical!), shows the men of Chanderi searching for something—or someone. We get glimpses of spooky, abandoned havelis and empty roads that scream, "Stay out!" Abhishek Banerjee’s character, Jana, who was possessed by Stree in the first movie, still looks like he’s dealing with major PTSD. Poor guy!
And let’s talk about Shraddha Kapoor’s mysterious character with her long, luscious hair. Remember how she took Stree’s choti (hair) in the last film? Well, now she’s flaunting long hair herself. Kya chal raha hai, madam? Is she channeling Stree’s powers? This mystery is juicier than a Bollywood gossip session! 🕵️♀️
Oh, and before I forget, Tamannaah Bhatia makes a special appearance in a green outfit for a dance number. Kyunki Bollywood movie dance ke bina adhoori hoti hai, right? Towards the end, a terrified Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) begs Stree not to undress him. Talk about a dramatic finish! The teaser promises more thrills and chills, making us all even more excited for the trailer. 🎬
