Kajol, along with her mom Tanuja, was among the first to arrive and pay her respects to her dear uncle. Jaya Bachchan, with her emotional antennae on high alert, was spotted comforting Kajol.

Deb Mukherjee, born to Sashadhar Mukherjee of the legendary Filmalaya Studios, was practically filmi royalty. His mom, Sati Devi, was the sister of the iconic Ashok Kumar, Anoop Kumar, and Kishore Kumar. Talk about a family tree full of stars! His brother Joy Mukherjee was a noted actor, while Shomu Mukherjee, another brother, tied the knot with actress Tanuja, making Kajol and Tanisha his nieces.
