Oh Bollywood, you never cease to amuse! Khabree Kiran is back with the latest tinsel town gossip, fresh off the Bollywood grapevine. Today’s target? None other than the versatile Randeep Hooda!
Randeep Hooda: The Lone Wolf Speaks
So, apna Randeep Hooda has been busy reflecting on his career, and boy, does he have some taaza khabar for us. The man himself said, "Out of 24 years of my experience as a professional actor, I’ve not been on the sets for 11 years." Matlab, half the time he’s been MIA from the sets. But why, you ask? Well, Randeep baba has been choosy with his roles, opting out of the usual Bollywood masala in favor of more serious, soul-searching characters. Arey wah, kya baat hai!
When it comes to picking films, Randeep is crystal clear: "I have always wanted to not just do frothy films. In India and everywhere, we are looking at entertainment, where we are not required to apply our minds too much. But, I’ve been fortunate enough to choose films at the sacrifice of not doing enough." Sacrifice, huh? Bada hi emotional baat hai.
Dance, Dance Baby? Nah!
Randeep believes in method acting, and dancing is not his jam. When asked why he doesn’t shake a leg, he quipped, "This is the reason why I prefer to do transformational acting, or method acting, where you are preparing yourself to know the truth of a character. For example, I have played many cop roles, but I have not played a cardboard cop wearing a uniform. They are human beings who happen to be cops. That’s where you create a difference." Now, who can argue with that logic?
And here’s where Randeep gave us the real juice: "So, why compete with Hrithik, Shahid and Tiger because they dance so well? They can’t do what I do. Find your USP." Arey bhai, kya confidence hai! Hrithik aur Shahid ka kya haal hoga yeh sunke!
Swatantrya Veer Savarkar: The Last Hurrah
In case you missed it, Randeep was last seen in Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. The film dives into the life and struggles of the legendary Freedom Fighter Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. The movie, backed by Zee Studios and a bunch of other producers including Randeep himself, hit the screens on March 22. Quite a patriotic turn, no?
Kiran’s Gyan: Bollywood Ki Khaas Baat
Aur suno, Bollywood ka ek alag hi funda hai: You either dance your way into the audience’s heart like Hrithik, or you dive deep into method acting like Randeep. Lekin, ek baat toh pakki hai, har kisi ka apna style hota hai. So, find your USP, and apna Bollywood ka safar continue rakho!
